You may be hearing that across the nation, real estate is heading in a downward direction.  There is definitely fear in the air surrounding buying and selling homes. But we have good news! The good news is that it’s not all bad news, especially for Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.  The November Cromford Report shows promising numbers for these areas, with a strong market and steady gains.

Demand is Strong

In Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, demand remains much higher than supply.   As a whole, Maricopa County does show a drop; however, the drop would look even more drastic if the luxury markets were not balancing out the average.  Luxury markets, such as Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, still favor sellers as the demand is exceeding the current supply.  Active listings have increased since last year, but the increase is not enough to overtake the demand in these areas.  Wealthy buyers are aware of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley’s beautiful home sites and world-class attractions, and the high season is upon us.  We are not seeing the frenzy we had last year, but sales prices are still on the rise, and days on market have only slightly increased.  The data confirms what we have been telling clients all along: Hot Markets will remain strong, and the Scottsdale/ PV area is a gem!
